What would life be like if God/god/gods really existed?

@Setanta,
Quote:
A "limited" thermonuclear exchange would have resulted in nuclear winter
Nuclear winter is a myth . The same people have now switched to Global Warming with equally unpersuasive arguments .

Your stupidity blinds you almost as much as your ignorance . A nuclear detonation is spherical . It can not be compared with a volcanic eruption in size or locality or volume of dust . At least a volcano points upward . You were bad at history, are we to believe you will now be bloody awful at science ?

Quote:
I see no response defending the hilariously idiotic claim that religion prevented a thermonuclear exchange.
The claim was not made . That you see what you want to see is no surprise . It is part of your delusional nature, tied in with you being an historian (PhD - Google Hist) .

@Joe Nation,
If a god existed, something would be different. Something wouldn't fit. There would be something for which rational explanations can not exist.

If a god existed, there would be no religion.

If a god existed, it would be impossible to understand how anything works, and no expectation that anything will continue to work the way it did yesterday.

If a god existed, Casinos would be unable to structure their businesses in a way that would be expected to succeed.

I'll come back later with more...

@Fil Albuquerque,
If a god existed, a scientific hypothesis would have no purpose.

If a god existed, you'd expect to see a measurable benefit to prayer ( assuming it knew and cared what prayer means).

If a god existed, it would probably have some input into biology.

If a god existed, there'd have been a miracle by now.

If a god existed, he'd save childhood cancers and African Loaloa eyeworms for people like Hitler, Catholicism notwithstanding.

If a god existed, he'd let us know directly.

If a god existed, his Word would not be Riddled with Contradictions.

If a god existed, he'd smite the bejesus outta me!

@Eorl,
Oh and one more...

If a god existed, there'd be no need for faith.

@Eorl,
If god exists/doesn't exist, then either he does or he doesn't and sharing your opinions, views or beliefs on the subject couldn't possibly change anything.

The creation of this 'god' came from a lack certainty.

@Eorl,
Eorl: You've got it!!

(And, for the first time, I selected an answer to one of my questions.)

Thanks!

@Eorl,
Of course.

How else could there be truth if no one ever said so?

@Eorl,
That's Losman's schtick, to tell everyone else that what they have written is meaningless. It does appear that his criterion is that if he didn't say it, it can't be true.

Like the creation of the universe.....or multi-verses....or the origin and nature of life.....the meaning of life....is there life after death etc etc.....

@JPLosman0711,
So you come here to shoot your mouth off, and can't even be bothered to learn the simplest things about how the site works? Whom i was addressing is indicated in the post.

@Setanta,
I can't be bothered with it, and neither can you. You pretend to go along with the 'rules' so that you won't have to see any 'harsh' words that start with the heading "@Setanta".

@JPLosman0711,
As seems to be always the case when you post, you don't know what the hell you're talking about. Not that that will deter you.

(It has nothing to do with "following rules," just a recognition of the simplest terms of how the site works.)

@Setanta,
You've merely used different words to describe what the original words 'following rules' described.

Speaking of not knowing what you're talking about! - LOL
