@JGoldman10,
ummm, palm sunday through the week to easter sunday, you're some good christian

from wiki
Holy Week (Latin: Hebdomas Sancta or Hebdomas Maior, "Greater Week"; Greek: Ἁγία καὶ Μεγάλη Ἑβδομάς, Hagia kai Megale Hebdomas) in Christianity is the last week of Lent and the week before Easter. It includes the religious holidays of Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday (Holy Thursday) and Good Friday, and lasts from Palm Sunday (or in the Eastern, Lazarus Saturday) until, but not including, Easter Sunday, as Easter Sunday is the first day of the new season of The Great Fifty Days. It commemorates the last week of the earthly life of Jesus Christ as recorded in the Canonical gospels.

@FBM,
FWIW, I always think of this related witty quote when I hear about things written in threads such as this one:

"Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in a garage makes you a car. "

@djjd62,
Palm Sunday I thought was a holiday to commemerate Jesus riding through the streets of Jerusalem.

We CHRISTIANS don't call Easter Easter- we call it Resurrection Sunday.

You called it Easter just then. If, by your own definition, you were a [s]Christian[/s] CHRISTIAN, you would've written, '...don't call Resurrection Sunday Easter...'

@FBM,
I said EASTER so you would know what I was talking about.

Do not try to correct me.

Resurrection Sunday commemorates Jesus' resurrection from the dead. it is NOT about eggs or chicks or bunnies. The EASTER BUNNY was something created to propagate the holiday's commercialism, and to sell greating cards and merchandise.

EASTER is a PAGAN term for the holiday.

@JGoldman10,
OK. I'm a pagan, so I'll just go about my business as usual, then.

@izzythepush,
Oh, and the resurrection, that's Pagan too. Osiris did it long before Jesus, and his wan't the only example.

@izzythepush,
Are you a BORN-AGAIN CHRISTIAN?

Osiris is a false God- he is not real.

Osiris is an idol.

No one cares about Osiris.
