Is it against Yahoo! Answers rules to have more than one account?

I have an account there, which was temporarily suspended. I contacted them wanting to know why-I felt it was a mistake. Is it against theri rules to have more tham one account there? I can't use the one I have right now. Please help.

@JGoldman10,
If it's like Gmail and Hotmail then you should be allowed multiple accounts.

Why was your account temporarily suspended? If it was a serious terms of service agreement violation I guess the second email account is being blocked because of the shared IP addresses between the two accounts.

@tsarstepan,
Can you have more than one Yahoo mailbox? How do you register a new account at Yahoo! Answers not using a Yahoo! mail account?

@JGoldman10,
I can't answer the Yahoo Answer account question as I never used them nor do I have any interest in doing so.

Oh yeah, I´ll tell you something
I think you'll understand
When I say that something
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand

Oh, please, say to me
You'll let me be your man
and please, say to me

You'll let me hold your hand
Now let me hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand

And when I touch you i feel happy, inside
It's such a feeling
That my love
I can't hide
I can't hide
I can't hide

Yeah you, got that something
I think you'll understand
When I say that something
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand

And when I touch you I feel happy, inside
It's such a feeling
That my love
I can't hide
I can't hide
I can't hide

Yeah you, got that something
I think you'll understand
When I say that something
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your ha-a-a-a-a-a-and

Here's a link to Yahoo! Answers' Community Guidelines and their Terms of Service.

They use the same TOS for all of Yahoo's kingdom.

http://info.yahoo.com/legal/us/yahoo/utos/utos-173.html

Here's what I found in the Community Guidelines about multiple accounts:

http://answers.yahoo.com/info/community_guidelines

Quote:
Cheating

Our points system is meant to reward the community members for sharing questions and answers, so creating multiple accounts or posting content for the sole purpose of gaining points or soliciting others for points is not permitted. Posting filler answers to a question in an effort to be first to answer, or copying and pasting other members' answers, are also forms of cheating.

Quote:
Misusing Answers

Don't create multiple accounts to troll or otherwise violate these guidelines or the Yahoo! Terms of Service. Don't post things that are incomprehensible or in the wrong language, and don't post the same question over and over again. The community depends on you to report abuse and rate questions and answers, so using product features such as report abuse and ratings to target others is not allowed.

If you had multiple accounts, that is why your account has been blocked. If you were doing there what you do here, posting the same questions over and over again, then that is also a reason for them to block your account.

@Butrflynet,
Hello-I DIDN'T HAVE a multiple account-that's not the reason why they deleted/suspended my account.

@Butrflynet,
I think they thought I was using another email address for the same account-and I wasn't. That's probably why my account was suspended/deleted.

I tried sending a message to them and I got a message that said, "refused connection"- what does that mean?

refused connection

It's internet argot use mostly by administators of websites and such like.

It means that you are banned from using the site.

I can't imagine how that has happened but there you are.

Create a new account.

While your about it have you tried ask.com and answer.com?

@laughoutlood,
I can't imagine what I did wrong either-all I did was send them an email explaining myself and asking further questions regarding my case.

I thought it was a faulty internet connection.
I was HOPING it wasn't the latter.

I'm not being negative-if it was the latter, that's nothing but the Devil.

Many people in the WORLD don't want to hear the Truth of the Word of God,-they think when you tell people what the Bible says, that you are creating a "major upset". They think when you express something from a GODLY/CHRISTIAN standpoint you're casing trouble.

I'm not giving up. I'm going to send them another e-mail asking why I got a message that siad "refused connection" and see what happens.

@laughoutlood,
The problem, obviously is that I sent a message to them and I was still logged in-I will send a message to them on their form WITHOUT signing in.
