Bush Family History: Relevant to international politics?

In October 1942, ten months after entering World War II, America was
preparing its first assault against Nazi military forces. Prescott Bush was managing partner of Brown Brothers Harriman. His 18-year-old son George, the future U.S. President, had just begun training to become a naval pilot. On Oct. 20, 1942, the U.S. government ordered the seizure of Nazi German banking operations in New York City which were being conducted by Prescott Bush. Under the Trading with the Enemy Act, the government took over the Union Banking Corporation, in which Bush was a director. The U.S. Alien Property Custodian seized Union Banking Corp.'s stock shares, all of which were owned by Prescott Bush, E. Roland "Bunny" Harriman, three Nazi executives, and two other associates of Bush. (1)

By Oct. 26, 1942, U.S. troops were under way for North Africa. On Oct. 28, the government issued orders seizing two Nazi front organizations run by the Bush-Harriman bank: the Holland-American Trading Corporation and the Seamless Steel Equipment Corporation. (2)

U.S. forces landed under fire near Algiers on Nov. 8, 1942; heavy combat raged throughout November. Nazi interests in the Silesian-American Corporation, long managed by Prescott Bush and his father-in-law George Herbert Walker, were seized under the Trading with the Enemy Act on Nov. 17, 1942. In this action, the government announced that it was seizing only the Nazi interests, leaving the Nazis' U.S. partners to carry on the business. (3)

Bush and Quayle's advisers in 1988 included several European fascist activists, including Nazi collaborator Laszlo Pasztor, who had served as junior envoy in Berlin for the Arrow Cross regime in his native Hungary; Florian Goldau, who had been recruiter for the Romanian Iron Guard; Bohdan Fedorak, who had headed a Ukranian pro-Nazi group involved in wartime pogroms; and Croatian-born agitator Jerome Brentar, a fixture on the Holocaust denial circuit. Tapes of the Bush Family's long-time spiritual adviser, Billy Graham, have revealed that Graham used to have vehemently anti-Semitic conversations with Nixon. For example, Graham blamed "satanic Jews" for the nation's problems. After agreeing with Nixon that left-wing Jews dominate the news-media, Graham stated that "They're the ones putting out the pornographic stuff," and the Jewish "stranglehold has got to be broken or the country's going down the drain." He also admitted that "a lot of the Jews are great friends of mine.... But they don't know how I really feel about what they are doing about this country." (6)

I'm not well informed enough about how Americans choose their children's name, but here in Europe, first names don't say anything about the religious background of the parents but show only, if they tend to go 'à la mode' (which now would be 'Jewish' or archaic Christian names), 'old styled' (e.g. still choosing Scandinavic first names), or ... ... .

I also find it curious that some of the biggest names in Hollywood these days are Ben Affleck, Reese Witherspoon, Gwynneth Paltrow, Julia Roberts, Colin Farrell, Adrian Brody....imagine that...the list of non-Jews goes on and on...

Isn't Gwyneth Paltrow indeed Jewish? Father- Bruce Paltrow, mother- Blythe Danner? And I'm willing to bet money that Adrian Brody is. And wouldn't be surprised if Ben Affleck is also.
I don't think it's necessary to deny the fact that Hollywood's entertainment industry is very Jewish and always has been. Don't know what geo's point is exactly but THAT is a fact.

eoe, everyone knows that Bruce is a gay name, not a Jewish name, so Bruce Paltrow is clearly gay, not Jewish. Adrian Brody has a hook nose, and likes blondes, but he is not Jewish. I suspect he's a filthy Armenian. In the interests of research, I shall start a KKK hit list. Feel free to add any other perceived offenders. I'll start with two:

At least Sammy Davis Jr. died naturally. To me, geo doesn't really have a point. Even if many Jews work in Hollywood, it is certainly not a "prerequisite". Personally, I think Marvin the Martian is a clear stereotype of Martians. He looks nothing like John the Martian on Justice League. He can't even phase through solid matter, or read thoughts.

But he's got a really cool broom on top of his helmet!
