Are people around here able to evaluate

Not sure how to answer this since intelligence is not a all encompassing thing. You can be very smart in one subject and completely ignorant in another. So what would you be then? I have also never met someone that was intelligent in all subjects or cases of what is considered to be types of intelligence. There are many different types of intelligence and I am not sure a person who actually had them all would even be interesting. So the only real intelligent people that I would be drawn to are the ones that have similar interests with me.

On top of that, I don't think intellect effects your appearance in any sort of physical way, although it could have a psychological one, I suppose.

I wouldn't use the word "smart".
Maybe "perceptive" or "informed" or "relevant" or "astute", etc, etc ... (in regard the topic/s being discussed).
