100% You can't select four of five items without selecting an insect. Before this simple solution dawned on me, I tried to figure out how many people ate various combinations. I don't believe there is a solution that satisfies the givens.

It depends on how fast the 2nd place driver was going. Shocked

Let me re-phrase that question, I think I might have lost the plot. Embarrassed

If Felipe Giaffone won his first Indy Racing League race by 15 minutes.
And he was travelling at 4 miles per hour when he crossed the finish line,
by how many yards did he beat the 2nd place driver?

Would it not be 440 yards regardless of the speed of the other vehicle?
Would the distance of the race have to be included?

FELIPE (revisited)
It doesn't matter how fast Felipe is going. All that matters is how fast the second place driver was going.

Distance=Rate*Time
The distance is how far the second place driver is from the finish line when Felipe crosses.
The time is how long it took for the second place driver to reach the finish line after Felipe crossed.
For the equation to make sense, the rate has to be how fast the second place driver was driving.

Consider these two extreme examples:
- He crosses the finish line 0.0932 seconds before a snail crawling at 1mm per minute. The distance is miniscule.
- He crosses the finish line 0.0932 seconds before a photon traveling at the speed of light. The distance is enormous.
