im guessing 2 17 41 73 is some sort of sequence but sequence doesnt start with a p.....and i doubt polynomially is a word (and its not even a plynomial, its just numbers)

progressively?

It's not a sequence, and progressively isn't rare. The order of the numbers is not important. These numbers have something in common.

Good morning to each and all, busy day today. First to collect my unemployment benefits, then to the soup kitchen for lunch. Let the good times roll…

Nice painting, is it one of your own? May I also ask, who is doing the pushing and just who is looking up the ladies skirt, is he a ski instructor?

The painting is by Jean Honore Fragonard, the man on the ground is a likeness of Baron St. Julian and his bishop is swinging The Baron's mistress ~Madame,,, Madam,,,eh, ummm, etc-etc-etc.,,,um 'Her Ugliness'

The Baron tried to commission a painter who had recently won a contest, (de salon?) but declined when told by the Baron that he wanted a picture showing the pretty little thing's leg's. (risque' for that era) So the Baron was introduced to Fragonard who delightfully (perhaps without hesitation, if you've ever seen his 'Girl with her dog') took the comission.

I did start to sketch it a couple of years ago. The ropes remind me of a statue left for repair at an old marble quarry that is now a museum in Proctor Vermont. The statue is of a young girl who is on a swing with a boy standing by. The girl is poor as she is missing a button on the back of her smock. The ropes are carved at an angle as the lil' girl is in motion. It looks amazing. Ever been? It's a 2 and a half hour drive from bradford, Ma. Some of the sidewalks in that town are made of marble. I'm due to go back.
