I can't believe you said that!

He's in da-nile, it's not just a river.

Try, i am taking my lil one and her friend to an amusement park (the only fair in life is at a carnival). Would you like to run the universe while i am gone?,,, good!

Keep the phone off of the hook please, and state the usual~ Melt all evil heathens, and who is willing to give up their prophesies.
We could all (prophecy-piggy back) off of the one who has been given the least ~ (mmoe).

I had a dream the Holy Ghost was going to get married and God planned the wedding, along with his favorite helpers of course.

Can you imagine the clothing and food and flowers?! Very Happy I wonder how much he's willing to spring $. Some parents end up hating the bride because of the cost involved.
I would elope if i were the Holy Ghost.

Riddle\question-

Is the Holy Ghost a man or a woman? I think it's female. Just in case it's a shim (she & a him) you pick a couple.

You are now in charge of the universe while God takes a long HOT shower.

My spell check dosen't work.

Thoh:

"6 is a special number," Tom said perfectly. Cool

(6 is a perfect number because it equals the sum of its proper divisors. 28 and 496 are the next two perfect numbers.)

"Remove the braces," remarked Tom parenthetically. Cool
(Braces perform the same task as parentheses.)

"Square root of 2 is not equal to a/b," noted Tom irrationally. Cool
(Square root of 2 is an irrational number.)

Stu:

May I call you Stu?

"What's long and thin, covered in skin; red in parts, and put in tarts."

The answer Stu has already been given by CJ:

As the Joker (Jack Nicholson) said to Bruce Wayne (Michael Keaton) in the '89 Batman movie: "Never rub another man's ......"

Rhubarb!

Mark:

BUILT 2 = built to last Cool

thoh13 has the swifties correct (perfectly, parenthetically, irrationally)

Thanks for the heads up. Laughing

TTH:

OMG I surprised myself Razz

I am sure there were many others. Shocked

Shop on line Cool

Etc:

"He's in da-nile, it's not just a river."

Hey! Leave the jokes to Thoh will ya!

"..the only fair in life is at a carnival "

You are right, life is not fair, unless you have your own Fair y.

"Is the Holy Ghost a man or a woman? I think it's female"

I saw the movie but it was kinda hard to tell.

"You are now in charge of the universe"

Hold fire on that one, I can't even charge a battery.

I will think about the art…

When Mark gets a haircut, he normally pays the barber with an exact number of dollar bills (which include the cost of the haircut plus the tip). There are no coins involved in the transaction.

One day, he did not have the exact number of dollar bills, so he gave her (yes he goes to unisex place) a twenty-dollar bill so that she would give him change for the cost of his haircut (which costs less than ten dollars) (undoubtedly the last of the big spenders). He would then have enough dollar bills to give her a tip, assuming that she gave him all one-dollar bills.

To his surprise, he discovered that his barber thought he was a senior citizen (people 62 or older get one dollar off the regular price of a haircut) because she gave him one dollar too much in change.

He was tipping her 37.5% (based on a regular haircut), but how much did his barber think he had been tipping her (based on a senior citizen haircut) Question

What is the cost of a senior citizen haricut Question

I am confused. Confused

The "swifties" #6 you wrote the right answer is "perfectly" and I understand the correlation but, I answered "positively" and 6 is a positive #. Can there be more than one correct answer?

In the following MATHEMATICAL TTH Swifties

"1/2 is a fraction," said TTH p____________ly.

"It just touches," noted TTH t____________ly.

"1, 3, 5, 7," TTH said o____________ly.

I bought a new lawnmower this year (7.5 hp). When I asked my girlfriend how the first mowing went, she replied that it seemed to go faster. I answered, "that's because my new mower cuts a 22 inch wide path while my old mower only cut a 21 inch path."

So the question is: How much faster can she mow the lawn given the following assumptions Question

Assume that the lawn is a rectangle 150' x 105'
Assume that the lawn will be mowed in strips and always in the same directions (either back and forth along the width or back and forth along the length).
My girlfriend can mow at the rate of 120 feet/min.
It takes 5 seconds to turn around at the end of each strip.
What beer will I be drinking while all this activity is going on.

[size=8]SWIFTIES
partially?
tangentially
oddly

LAWN
You're girlfriend must not be too bright. She minimizes her time by mowing lengthwise. However, it would take as long (26.25 minutes) with a 22" mower as with a 21" mower. Since it seemed faster, she must be mowing widthwise. In that case her time dropped from 42 minutes to 36.125 minutes. You were drinking a Newcastle.

Mark:

SWIFTIES
Partially Cool

"1/2 is a fraction," said Tom properly. (or partially or proportionally)
1/2 is a proper fraction.

Tangentially Cool

Tangent lines touch in just one point.

oddly Cool

1, 3, 5, 7, are odd numbers

I may have this all wrong, but:

If you mow along the longer side, it will take 160 seconds or 2.65 minutes less to mow the lawn.

If you mow along the shorter side, it will take 230 seconds or 3.83 minutes less to mow the lawn.

To figure this out, 150 feet equals 1800 inches.

Dividing by 21 inches means that it will take 85.71 or 86 paths (mowing along the shorter sides).
Dividing 1800 inches by 22 inches requires 81.81 or 82 paths.
Dividing 105 feet or 1260 inches by 21 inches means that it will take 60 paths to mow the lawn.
Dividing 1260 inches by 22 inches means that it will require 57.27 or 58 paths.

The number of times required to turn around will be one less than the number of paths.

Here is a comparison of the data for each mower:

Mower Mow along
width or length Number of paths Number of times to turn around Time to mow each strip Total Time

-old 21" length 60 59 1.25 min or 75 sec _ 4,795 sec or 79.9 min
new 22" length 58 57 1.25 min or 75 sec_ 4,635 sec or 77.3 min
-.old 21" width 86 85 .875 min or 52.5 sec 4,940 sec or 82.3 min
new 22" .width 82 81 .875 min or 52.5 sec 4,710 sec or 78.5 min
