I'm probably a nerd.
As I recall, I was able to avoid groveling.
Where in CA are you at? You said that right?

Yes, you did avoid it. Why would you say you are a nerd?
A little town just north of San Luis Obispo.
Why am I probably a nerd? See the response to the question you yanked earlier.
It's kinda funny. I'm in engineering. Most of the people I work with are engineers. Most people would probably consider us nerds. I think we're pretty cool. Either it's all relative, or those afflicted with nerdiness are unaware of it. Perhaps nerdiness is like dementia.
I don't consider engineers nerds. You really feel people think that way?

No. The thing about doing math and programming problems at various sites.
Where are you located (roughly)?

Why would that make you a nerd.
You want it rough huh?

I live south of Seattle, WA

To some extent. I don't think engineers/mathematicians care. We're content with who we are.
Something to distract you two....

Do you think the pile would be more or less than 10 miles high?
And after you answer that, how high do you think the pile really is?
You don't really expect me to answer that do you?
In my head with no calculator, pen or paper?
That gal that swapped avatars with Try was from the Seattle area.
thoh13:
Before I calculate it, I'll guess that it is quite a bit more than 10 miles.
And the answer is...
Assuming the card is .01" thick, the stack is slightly over 710,795,395 miles high.

Hey, I said south of Seattle, not Seattle. There is a difference you know.
Or if you'd like something more of the trivia nature....
The only thing that pops in my head now is....
What's the only animal other than man that can get sunburned?
What's the only animal other than man to have sex for pleasure?
Why don't you have avatars?
