I had a bunch of laughs with the Flea question down at the bar tonight!!!!

Anyway......Two old friends meet after years in ex-comunicado.....Joe told Bob that he has three daughters now. Being that Bob likes riddles, Joe decides to only tell Bob only that the product their ages is 36. He then says that the sum of their ages is equal to the number of the street block across the street from them. He says to Bob that that fact will pose a dilema to him......To this dilema,...he says that the fact that the oldest plays the piano will resolve that dilema!
What are the ages of the daughters?

A bit of a different riddle here.....perhaps a play on words too, but thought I should ask just in case!! Warning!!!!!! It' a silly answer!

That one's been around here before.

Possible solutions
1 + 1 + 36 = 38
1 + 2 + 18 = 21
1 + 3 + 12 = 16
1 + 4 + 9 = 14
1 + 6 + 6 = 13
2 + 2 + 9 = 13
2 + 3 + 6 = 11
3 + 3 + 4 = 10

The only way there could be a dilemma, is if the sum is 13. Both include twins, but only one has an oldest child. Therefore, they are 2, 2, and 9.

Anyway...being that all the riddles on this board have been solved (except for the Chinamans'), You got anything new? I'm dead out of new sheit!

OK.....pictuer a grid of dots.......5X4 dots.
For the sake of communication.....ABCDEF horizontal X 1234 Vertical.
You must go over all the dots using only 6 continuouse straight lines. The lines can only cross over in areas that there are no dots(no X over a dot, but OK for cross inbetween the dots) .... Also, the 6th and last line must end where your first line began.
Might be old, but worth a shot!

To make sure I understand:
- Draw six straight lines without lifting the pencil.
- No crossing on a dot.
- End at the beginning (forming a loop that may cross itself)

How about turning on a dot? For example, start at the top left, go horizontally to the top right, then turn right and go down to the bottom right. Is that permitted?

Yes, yes, and yes to all questions....a loop of straght continous lines. You can go anywhere you want...on and off the grid....just make sure there is no cross over of lines over a dot!

yes! I can ask for the diagram...but was hoping to solve first. If not I, then someone on the board...If you don't solve right away, would you want the answer right away?? It is not a trick riddle, and has a true solution for sure....this one comes from the guy of the horse races, and is no joker!
All I know, is that it is not a simple connect the dots thing!
Got to think outside the parameters! or so i'm told!
