Some of you may have seen this on Broadway, but I'm wondering who saw any or all of both parts recently on HBO.
IMHO, Mary-Louise Parker nailed her part with such a nuanced performance, she had me on the floor! I also appreciated the complex characterizations of her husband, his mother and 'Louis'.
Although it was interesting to throw in the political, eg having Meryl Streep in 1 of her 3 roles as Ethyl Rosenberg 'talking' to her murderer (okay, that's my opinion) Roy Cohn as played by Al Pacino, but I'm not certain if it was helpful to try to tackle that specific dynamic or not.
May I read some of your thoughts about this? Thanks...

I watched it on HBO...didn't know it was on broadway.
I found it interesting and a perfect miniseries for HBO to air...just because they can afford to experiment with shows like this one.
I didn't understand some of it and was offended by the whole gay aspect.
I know being gay is accepted now BUT that doesn't mean I have to accept it. So anyway, Meryl did a great job as usual!!
I would just go about my own business and don't worry if you're not accepted as not accepting gays.
I'm typing this with a blindfold. Not reading thread. Finally I'm on episode three!!!
