makemeshiver, the article you quoted said that God could murder, but would not. If the Bible is correct, God certainly murdered the first-born of all of the Egyptians, even of those in prison who could not have been in any way responsible for Pharaoh's decisions. Not to mention all of the babies drowned in the Flood, stricken by plagues, and killed by the Israelites acting under God's direct orders to slaughter every man, woman and child who happened to be already occupying the Promised Land.

Asking how many angels can dance on a pinhead is like asking how many millions of species can fit in an ark, how many acts of divine violence believers can ignore, and how many souls God can burn in hell.

Speaking of souls, ever wonder just what purpose God has for collecting billions of flawed human spirits? How many people does he need to sing in his choir?
