I never knew it could be like this.
I can die a happy woman.
My skin has softened in the contemplative chocolate bacon.
i'd like some chocolate bacon
but i don't want to die a happy woman
life is full of dilemmas

So it's better then desert air?
Wally had been given a gift package of snacks and sweets from a girl that works down at the pool hall.
She had made some of the sweets into clever little shapes, and we were looking at them.
We each broke off a small bit of cookie, as we continued to unwrap stuff. He found the bacon and tried to break off a piece, but, being bacon, it doesn't break very well. He bite off a piece and held it out to me, and I did the same.
"What the hell is this?" I said, confused by the texture, and unknown mix of flavors.
"I don't know Chai. She said something about....chocolate bacon?"
"chocolate bacon!!?? I have heard of this" and I put more in my mouth.
By that time, the wonder of it had exploded in Wally's mouth, and he grabbed it back from me.
We grappled for a time, until I said "Look, you dropped some on the floor."
He bent to shove the fallen chocolate bacon into his mouth, and I made good on my chance.
He's a quick son of a gun though, so it's hard to say who got the better part of the deal.
I think it was pretty even by the end.

too late, it's ******* gone baby, gone.
I'll tell you though, it's everything they say, and more.
@chai2,
Be careful Chai. I hear chocolate bacon based affairs are the 9th most frequent cause of divorces in America.
@chai2,
world market has some.......
but they are closed.
where did you get yours?
@shewolfnm,
Just get some of your favorite chocolate and use a veggie peeler to sprinkle shavings on bacon strips you've spread out on a sheet pan. Stick it in a 350 oven until the bacon is crisp. Another method is to melt the chocolate in the microwave while baking the bacon strips to a crisp. Let them cool a bit and then dip them in the chocolate and rest them on a cooling rack until the chocolate solidifies. It works with carob too.
I occasionally sprinkle the bacon with brown sugar or honey mustard instead of the chocolate.
It is glorious!
