@dyslexia,
Nah. That's too cheap. I've signed up with dealfind, groupon, and a bunch of others that give you discounts all over the place. I bought two coupons for my son - one at a pub and one at a restaurant. He gets about 57% off at each. Now THAT's a gift. Signing up is free, by the way, and they email you the daily deals. Check it out, cheapo.

When I moved to Texas, in 1957, there was a station that looked a lot like this, across from my home. It still had a coke machine selling 6 cent bottles of Coke.

@djjd62,
Oh yeah, right up there around Maud and Fouke. It's maybe only 20 miles North of Uncertain (which is right on magnificent, mysterious Caddo Lake).

@djjd62,
Ry Cooder drove through Bloomburg Texas once, he stopped there because he was low on windshield wiper fluid. He was on his way to Paris Texas.

@chai2,
Why not treat a loved one to a last minute gift of a weekend stay in Uncertain?

One can find lovely accomodations at Crips Camp, run by Gary Kempf. Or, for those not as sporty, there is always Canoa Cove or Hodge Podge Cottage, both owned and managed by Wes and Joann Hodges.

@dyslexia,
I'll get you the fluid and I'll raise the stakes and throw in a pair of these fancy dancy numbers...
Merry Ho Ho and all that.
