When I ventured up to the attic to clear out the broken camera equipment, the mildewed books, the broken projector and fading film, and the Easter baskets left over from my childhood, I found that a friendly family of mice
had taken up residence and had left, like the Easter Bunny, “treats”.
I don't quite understand the traditions in Easter,and is there anybody who can tell me something about the last sentence of the passage?
Many thanks!
@Nancy88,
The Easter bunny shows up on Easter day and hides brightly colored eggs and candies for children to find.
The author is saying that the mice left treats (feces) for her to find.

You're not even allowed to cuss in Boomer's house on the internet.
@Nancy88,
What means by treat?
This isn't at all idiomatic, Nancy. If you want a short "title" example, then "Meaning of treat?" would work or,
What does treat mean? OR What's the meaning of treat?
