This situation is a new behavior as I recall making no change in settings. After about 3-5 min, it makes me log in again with my pwd. It didn't do this for the 5 months I've owned it. How and what do I reset on this OS so it doesn't force the issue every 5 mins of inactivity.
Lenovo desktop pc with Windows 7.
@engineer,
thanks, that fixed it. However, I can't mark it as answered as I never found out where it is. Do you know how to mark the question as answered?
@Ragman,
I think you have to start a thread using "Ask a Question" instead of "Start a Discussion". Not a problem. Glad you got it to work.
@engineer,
Ahh..ok..a discussion vs a Question. Thanks
Yeah...sometimes those 'net forum explanations aren't as clear as they should be. I finally located where the change should be made.
@Ragman,
Hi, The key to good auto repair lies in troubleshooting the problem. If your car won't start, there are a number of things that could be causing the problem. Proper troubleshooting will eliminate potential issues that aren't the real problem and point you in the right direction. There's no bigger waste of money than repairing or replacing an auto part only to find out it wasn't the problem. These troubleshooting tips should help out and save you both time and money, not to mention frustration!
@StGeorgeElectrical,
Dude...we're talking about pc repairs and problems. Absolutely nothing to do with cars or car repairs.
