What does "odd pizza" mean?

barely have enough money to buy the odd pizza and six-pack of beer... what does the word "odd" mean in this sentence?

Yes, it means they don't normally buy pizza - it's a weird phrase to be sure, now that I think about it. But you can use 'odd' in place of 'occasional' in this way.

I thought they were talking about putting pineapple on it. That's fairly odd.

Not according to Merry Andrew and those crazy ham or spam loving fiends from the great state of Hawaii. Pineapple still is a chic pizza topping.

Yes, she means that they buy pizza occasionally, and in the context you gave, that's because they don't have the money to do it very often.
