Hmm...good point, being able to wrap oneself in a role and all, rather than being typecast in dumbass romantic comedies. I hear you there. This must be his best work ever.

Way cool pics.

I'll admit to materialistic tendencies. I want shoes. Really badly. I have stupid high-heeled shoes from the L.A. era that I don't enjoy wearing, and one pair of black boots I've had for going on three years that have soles worn down almost half an inch on the outside and are generally pitiful.

My mom has said she wants to get me some shoes for Christmas and I have been very happily browsing Zappos.

Christmas is more fun when you're poor. (As long as you have time and inclination to make things people will actually like -- I've spent the time, now nail-biting on the "actually like" part.)

We'll take it to Oma and Opa's house, and play with it there . . . if little dogs leave us sufficient leisure . . .

For Christmas, I already have everything I could wish for--love and happiness and the good fortune to have learned that life does start at sixty.

I wish for all of you good health and happines and, especially, love.

Husker: has not made a list yet

farmerman: still needs an avatar? So you think the baby is too cute to represent you huh? Is this more to your liking?

cavfancier: Wants money. Although the Jewish tradition does not include Santa, it does include exchanging gifts. Happy Chanukah to you!

Setanta, nice pictures of the general.

Acquiunk: has not made a list yet

sozobe: Wants new shoes from Zappos. If you can't find shoes there than you can't find them anywhere. When made well, I love the homemade gifts the best!

ebeth: what present did you get last year that you can't put together? By the way, very nice Christmas Decorations!

Diane: For Christmas, she already has everything she could wish for--love and happiness and the good fortune to have learned that life does start at sixty. That's nice to know Diane, it goes to show your never to old for anything. The body starts to age but the mind is better than at 20 years old.

I'll break open another bottle of the bubbly and pass the glasses around...Cheers to everyone!

Or you could re-gift it to Gautam -- I bet he'd come up with something fabulous in return.

I would like everyone to at least have a moment, one single moment, no matter who they are or what is going on in their life, of peace and joy.
simple yet, complicated, eh?

If everyone else was a bit more happy, I might not be so grumpy..so its pretty selfish but, still.
Smile

I would also like my mother to use the wish list she had me make back in August. I dont care what she picks off of it, even the ya know 8.00 cd or something but...Ive spent quality time searching and updating and looking and inserting and making notes cuz she asked me to. If she doesnt use it (and Im giving her till Valentines Day to do it BTW) Im gonna be grumpy again.

Yeah, you can see a pattern here cant ya?
Its all about releaving my grumpiness. I know.

Very Happy

what do I really want for xmas? I don't know. I actually haven't thought about it. I asked for some sweaters from VS. I know my sister is knitting me a scarf (I picked the colors) that I'm pretty excited about. I guess I'm at the stage where I just want a calm and peaceful gathering of the family. It might be peaceful this year, but it won't likely be calm. And I'll have to leave my lil animals at home (so sad).

xmas will be local this year, so I just need to leave them for the day. It's sad that I won't be waking up to xmas this year.

Oh yeah, local works then.

It is a bit strange at first, then you realize how nice the quite calm 'can I have some coffee before you jump on the bed' missing from your vocabulary thing is. Not as exciting though.

I like that 'jump on the bed before coffee' thing. Actually, I sometimes jump on silvi's bed before I have any coffee.
