No, Ruach, I don't want to share my negative views right now. They are particular to my length of viewing paintings about landscape. I don't want my views to affect anyone's viewing here. In any case my own views are always changing, revamping themselves. The only thing I will say is look at more and more paintings. Some of the ones you liked early on will seem too easy later.
I was mentioning this only to qualify an earlier comment, and I shudda/not.

I'm usually the one who decorates, but this year my mom put the trees up since I've been busy painting. She started the week after thanksgiving.

To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of Bittar's work either, but some of his stuff is pretty cool. And pretty damn expensive too. Some of his originals list upwards of $60,000.
By the way, it's Silicon Valley, not "silicone". That would be L.A.
