It toured for five years, then ended on Broadway... where, sadly, it was not greeted with open arms.
I thought the music and acting was fabulous, nevertheless. Has anyone else seen this play? Or heard the music from the play?

Innie, I missed this thread entirely. I have a friend who worked on the tour. She plays the music often, and I agree, it's pretty good. A little repetitive maybe, but that's true of many musicals...
Jane Eyre is a musical? since when? I have a friend who watched a production of the play in malvern theatres, she said it was good and i think she enjoyed it, but it wasnt a musical...
