Please can somebody help me i have just made a lamb tagine and put the freshly grated ginger in as per recipe which was one tablespoon. It has a awful overpowering bitter taste of ginger. Is there anything i can do to get rid of this or shall i bin it. I tasted one small mouth full around 3 hours ago and i still have the most awful taste in my mouth.

I think adding chicken stock was the best resolution, but I'd add milk. If it's in the meat, then you are out of luck. Shred it and add the stock.

@cazmar,
I chopped finely an eating apple and added it. Toned it down. If the taste persists in your mouth eat an apple.
