First,To be sure were all on the same page (and correct me if im wrong)

Blood Vessel is a sort of umbrella term that Refers to not only arteries,but veins,capalaries and All others Such as arterioles and venuels.

The Largest ARTERIE in the body is the aorta of the heart,
The Largest VEIN In the body is the Vena Cavae(superior&inferior)

Now suppose someone were to ask you the following question: What is the largest blood vessel in the body? What exactly are they reffering to? the aorta? Or the vena cavae?
