After menopause you can't impregnate a woman but you can still have sex with her. If you've been with any woman long term you should already be acclimated to mood swings so I don't get the downside. One would think a man would welcome and embrace menopause. Of course that's just my take.

@blueveinedthrobber,
I guess I can kind of see your point!
When you are blueveinthrobbing all of the time you can probably over look all of the emotions.
Kind of like when I was young and could never seem to get enough?

blueveinedthrobber is merely a sophmoric handle for my own amusement. In real life, I'm a lovable old grandpa

@blueveinedthrobber,
I am sorry about that, you know that there are probably some lovable old grandpas with blueveinedthrobbers and I was not sure if you were one of them!

I am, but as I've grown more mature I realize that like any other weapon with the potential to be dangerous, I must exercise caution and reserve with it. Most of the time.

@saab,
Saab, the book you mentioned, Seeking Sirile Gentlemen, sounds lovely, but I haven't been able to find it on the internet bookstores such as Amazon.

Do you know of any old book stores that might stock it?

@dyslexia,
Menopause typically but not always occurs in women in midlife, during their age of 40s or early 50s, and it gives the signals that its the end of the fertile phase of a woman’s life...
Another common thing after going through menopause is that the mood swings and this is caused due to hormonal changes during your "change of life."
Some women can also feel like they become a different person because of their mood swings and stops interacting with their friends and family members because they think that they are becoming irritating.
They may not be able to control their emotions... Menopausal women can be irritable , snappish, and have crying spells for no reason.
