I have the quibble where people strip mine the entire article and paste it to their post. Many times without giving credit where credit is due.
These people don't have the right to complain when they drive their favorite newspaper or magazine out of business when that media outlet drowns when their readers size drops below a certain point of no return.
I use the link to the article which is preceded by a brief synapsis of the story. Recently, I have been making an effort to add my mostly uneducated two cents to the thread along with the summary in order to appease the Boomerangs of the world!
It's up to the post reader if he or she chooses to read the context/accompanying article so they can make an educated statement and not just spout out neat little soundbites that have no frame of reference with the issues at hand in the thread.
