Why does able2know have such a short log-in cycle?

There are other Q&A sites that will leave a user logged in for days, provided they check in every so-many hours.

Have there been problems on A2K, or are the sponsors just overly cautious?

@ibstubro,
Huh? I never have to login. You tick the box on the login screen to keep you logged in all the time.

@ibstubro,
Musta missed that! I have to log in about every 30 minutes!

Thanks! I'll check it.

@ibstubro,
He's right. Click 'stay logged in' or whatever, and it won't log you out. Used to be that if you didn't check the box, you would get bounced out after something like 5 minutes of inactivity.

@ibstubro,
Plus I believe you need to have your computer/browser make a cookie for the site as well.
