One suggestion to the scientific community: enough of the "dark whatever" naming schemes.
"Dark matter" made some sense as a name. But "dark energy" and now "dark flow" are getting a bit silly.

It's my understanding that gravity pushes rather than pulls. Am I mistaken?

Gravity curves spacetime, and objects with mass or energy moving through spacetime show this curvature.
