Well, let's ask the Koreans. Anybody here from Korea?

@Setanta,
I guess you eat Koreans like sushi. Avoids any chance of burning em. Neutral

Not Korean, but have been here since '96. I agree that buring Koreans is a bad idea. Medium rare with crushed garlic and soy sauce is NOM, though. If you eat them raw, you'll eventually start wearing your plaid polyester pants hitched up around your nipples (over your wifebeater), and people will see your navy blue nylon socks that you've got on under your sandals. Just sayin'. Neutral

Now there is a thoughtful and well expressed post worthy of this thread. You see less of that in Pusan, though.

@Setanta,
I'm way out in the rice paddies, tho. It's still the norm here. I'm resisting...

I spent somewhat over a year in Korea in 1970-71. At that time, few Koreans could yet afford the plaid polyester. I suspect you're at the opposite end of the economic miracle which has made possible this sartorial splendor.

It's considered rude to make statements about the stature of Koreans. Koreans have feelings you know.

@ehBeth,
especially when jogging -

I'm a brat saying that. We had a local place newly korean owned. We got to know the owner. He was a jogger. He jogged funny, plop plop, plop plop. We jogged funny too, in our way.

Last I read, the fellow's daughter was doing well. That man had to put up with unending levels of ****. Really, this man went through all sorts of trouble.
