@tsarstepan,
Carbon dioxide, of course. Especially the 2% of the 0.0383 % that's attributed to our own activities. Arrogance, I suppose.

@roger,
I bet you're just a fair weather fan of carbon dioxide!

@tsarstepan,
Hey, I just took a good look at the chart. Who knew that argon would turn out to be more common that co2. So much for "Noble" gases, huh?

@roger,
Let's gang up against that so called chivalrous gas that is Sir Argon! Teach him some manners for not holding the atmospheric door open for the gases beneath him!

@tsarstepan,
N2O only make up .0000003 percent of the atmosphere however, good old laughing gas is useful in making cars run faster and of course making us laugh.

Sadly one of my former co-workers open a bottle of N20 in his van at a Burger King parking lot in order to get high one Friday on his way home and reach at least hopefully heaven still laughing.

@BillRM,
Did he crash, or did he forget to breathe? Nitrous doesn't stimulate the breathing response without co2, and the bottled stuff needs to be mixed with oxygen.

@roger,
The gas replace enough of the O2 in his van that he died as a result.

@tsarstepan,
I still haven't given out a ribbon. Any takers? First person to reply to this post with an atmospheric gas haiku gets it. Surprised

@tsarstepan,
Nitrogen is dull,
But when in a liquid state,
It is really damn cool.

It even had a pun.
