what does "high on knowledge" mean?

When someone asks you if you are high, they are asking if you are drunk, taking drugs, or out of control.

But it can also mean to be feeling really good about something or having a special awareness about something. Things are great, going smoothly, Some people say they are "high on life."

To be "high on knowledge" means that this person is getting their kicks out of being aware.
