The latest in a long line of "hacks".

How can I live a half-mile away and never see any of this stuff?

I didn't see it either. The pic is from Boston.com.
They probably taken it down by now.
I did see the "ring" (from LOTR) and the R2D2.
Those were cool.

Hermione went on an unofficial "hacker tour" her first year.
She saw some of the passages they use to get where they don't belong.

@George,
Now if they can only build a working production prototype for the market.

I'd happy to use one myself.

Cheap rent and transportation combined.

@ossobuco,
Every year, a group of MIT students pull off a prank.

For some reason, they call these pranks hacks:

"MIT's legacy as one of the world's most prestigious technical universities has a curious byproduct -- a history of clever pranks, or "hacks."

On Thursday, Cantabrigians noticed a strange sight atop an MIT building: A police call box reminiscent of the time machine used by science fiction hero Doctor Who.

This may be the most recent stunt by MIT's student body, but it's far from the first. Scroll through this gallery for a timeline of past MIT hacks."

@ossobuco,
Thank you. You can tell them their little pranks were wasted on me.

@ossobuco,
Thanks. I did watch a few episodes of Dr. Who. Another personality used phone booths too - Clark Kent.

Engineering students in certain cities do it but not in my school. Sad Drunk
