Resin name?

Hi, I had a water softener installed and wanted to know which resin the guy placed for me, I know it's a cationic one and it looks like the one in this picture: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Ion_exchange_resin_beads.jpg , does anyone knows its name and capacity (kilograins/cu. ft.)?
