Forum and Philosophical Ethics of advertising?

I was just wondering why Scientology is being advertised here?

Who made this decision and what went into accepting their money?

What are the standards and criteria for being allowed to advertise here?

Could I if I had the money place an advertisement here?

Why can I accept pizza being advertised but have issues about why Scientology are allowed to?

Because we advertise Scientology here are we endorsing it?
Am I now a Scientologist or a Scientologist sympathiser?
Are we still allowed to criticise our sponsors?

(I must admit I feel I may be breaking a rule here by asking these questions,
Am I?)
(If so please do delete and take no offence)

So it leads onto the more philosophical;

What if any are the standards of advertising?

Is advertising amoral, ethic-less, principle-less?
(amoral is without morality, does not necessarily mean one needs to be assigned)

Does advertising have a responsibility to anything?

What if any are the ethics and morality of advertising?

What is right and wrong to advertise?

Where is it right and wrong to advertise?

Is a religion or philosophy ever lessened by advertising?
Should religion be allowed to advertise?

Does this have anything to do with graven images?

Is the advertising of membership for a religion as acceptable/ethical/moral as advertising for membership of a computer program?

Is there an immoral advertising?

Is all advertising amoral?
(meaning it has no morality because it is not a morality issue)

(This is not necessarily a criticism, but seriously, this really has me stumped)
