one of my partners made a cloud chamber from some old piece of vacuum labware and he made the vacuum by overheating the jar and then quickly plugging up the exhaust(They had a cloth saturated with acetone or alcohol to make the smoke and then you need to put the thing in an ice bath, dry ice). They said that they were watching the cosmic ray smoke trails this PM and they were getting intense .
(Im down at the beach while they screw off at work)

Well ... to be honest ... I did so poorly in high school physics, I think my teacher passed me with a C- out of pity rather then me earn that degree my sheer luck.

The school shouldn't let me take the class back then because I wasn't in the right math class. I was one math level behind what was needed to understand most of the math side of the subject.

So far, this has been quite anticlimactic.

Where are the zombie hordes? When do the inanimated objects (trucks, cars, appliances, etc...) come alive to kill their human creators?

Where is Kevin Costner or Mel Gibson to save the day for humanity?!

Do we have to wait until tomorrow for any negative effects?

so this weekend we got planets lined up, and next weekend we got meteors, it's like living in the friggin bible, all we need is plagues of locusts (we've got floods and fires this year)
