Why are we, or most of us afraid to die? Should we be?
@Homomorph,
We are just afraid of the uncertainty.
@dyslexia,
Why bother being afraid of the uncertainty when you can triple your thrills by contemplating the certainty.
@oolongteasup,
Listening (well, I would).
Can only speak for myself and outside of pain, my fear is having regrets of not getting the chance to do some of the things I really want to do before closing my eyes for the last time. **** happens. Real life sometimes get in the way.

But I am not uncertain at all, and I would hope most aren't. I would like to think most reasonable people know what happens when they die.
Most people don't want to go thru the pain of dying.
And the fact that we don't have a choice in where or when.
We don't like not being in control of it all.
There is sympathy for those who want to end it all their own way. That's why Jack Kevorkian is still running around today.
