Finding a Competitive Basketball Club

I have been trying to find a girls' AAU basketball team. This seems harder than you would imagine. I found a couple in the area - one I heard isn't one of the better (location would be ideal); the other which is the better team - the website doesn't seem to be working.

She is adament about going to UCONN and playing basketball for them. I understand this would be extremely difficult, but if you knew my daughter, you would realize she is very driven - her teacher commented that once my daughter gets something in her mind she is likely to suceed.

She has played travel basketball, but if she really wants to be a college basketball player (she also would like to be a professtional one), she needs an even more competitive team. Anyone have thoughts on how to find this?

Well we found one. My husband heard back from the coach and wants to see her next week. They have some clinics so she can get primed up for the season.

This should work out well as she finishes this week with travel softball.

I have my fingers crossed for her that she can make the team. This is definately what she loves to do and has asked on her own to be more competitive in basketball.
