@stevecook172001,
This is one of my most recent favorite movies- based on a true story:

Into the Wild- great soundtrack too (Eddie Vedder wrote all if not most of the songs)

I understand the first two - they're brilliant, but why "Mad Max?"

@Brandon9000,
Mad Max is a wild rollick into a scary future.

@tsarstepan,
it's a bit violent for the meeker among you.

my other pick would have been "the hitcher".

it's kinda over the top bloody, though...

I know. I'm just not sure it's in the same league as "Highlander" and "Blade Runner."

@ehBeth,
Les Triplettes de Belleville

Is that about that photographer? name starts with B? or maybe not. Anyway, intensely good photographs - but when my x and I split, that book went into his pile.

If this makes no sense, then I suppose the movie was not related.

do you mean the original or the road warrior

i'm a big fan of the original (in australian, not the horrible dubbed american version)

the road warrior starred one of my favourite australian character actors Syd Heylen

@ossobuco,
no, it's an animated film about a bike race, very funny and very entertaining

@Brandon9000,
i'd put it above highlander, never really got the appeal of the film

i own blade runner and mad max (all three actually, although after the fight in the thundredome, the third really has little to offer)
