Playing everything I have that I haven't rated (although media player only allows 10,000 items in a play list - see you in 692 hours).

Right now this Oakenfold track is providing an urgency to my work soundtrack

@hingehead,
Out of curiosity I thought I'd see just how many unrated items there are in the collection, about 149,000, which means I have actually rated about 25,000.

As the decades seem to pass me by, this little gem seems to gain more and more significance in my life. Plus, it soothes me. Soothing is good for the soul.

@najmelliw,
Listening to Pete Townsend's 26 minute version of "Do you feel like we do" I'm in a happy place and I'm loving it.

Love this song...never hear it anymore. The vintage clip of Robert Parker great singing with the dancers dancing the mashed potato is great too:

Just for a comparison (one's not better than the other). Love the brass plus Wilson's stylin vocals. you gotta love Wilson, may he RIP::

Wipe Out with the famous Ventures. Every kid in the neighborhood used to play this as proof (or lack thereof, in my case) of their drumming skills.

This is a great clip, very tight playing. Interestingly, this has Max Weinberg as the guest drummer (2 drummers):

Columbus Short playing Little Walter (with Jeffery Wright as Muddy Walters and Cedric the Entertainer as Willie Dixon--narrating) in the film "Cadillac Records."

Short is actually the one singing here--nothing dubbed.

@layman,
Spectacular recreation of the Chess sound. Especially Larry Taylor's (Canned Heat)take on Willie Dixon's solid upright bass.

Great album. Picked a little with Jerry Douglas back in the 70's
