'tween 8 and 5 its pretty much whatver song is after the last on listed at http://www.kexp.org/framesets/playlist_frame.htm. make sense? good. in the car this afternoon it'll likely be built to spill, but i'm sick of that slide guitar and wishing i had the memory on me to refill that cd book on my coffee table and put it back in the car. woe.

the station linked above archives it's stuff, which includes in-studio performances for a variety of stuff (from guitarists from mali to swedish rockabilly to robyn hitchcock) and the last two weeks of broadcasts. oddly enough, though, the station signal just cut out, and all i can hear are my own computer keys and the droning chest-voice of the scientist in the next office. humph.

Well, since its Christmas Eve and all...Ive got a few of the Very Special Christmas albums shuffled around....and now I have Dido, Christmas day going...quite nice actually
For those that dont know it...heres the lyrics at least

Christmas Day

The young gentleman came riding past
on a snow-blue winter's day
He asked to drink by our fire and
I was pleased to let him stay
He drank there quietly for a while
and then he turned and said to me

Your eyes are green
Like summer grass
Your lips are red
like a fresh-cut rose
Your hair is soft
like an Irish stream
And your voice is filled with sweet beauty

And the last words I heard him say were
I shall return for you my love on Christmas Day

And the night will come but I won't sleep
as I watch the stars that lead him
I cannot place where he is
but still my heart goes with him
I'm saving all my Sunday clothes for the day
that I'll be leaving
Father knows
My sister knows

And my friends
They're happy for me
And the priest he says
you should thank God
for the blessing of such beauty

And the last words I heard him say were
I shall return for you my love on Christmas Day
I shall return for you my love on Christmas Day

On Christmas Day
I shall return for you
My love...

And the last words I heard him say
Were the last words I ever heard him say

I shall return for you my love on Christmas Day
I said I will return on Christmas Day
And yes, I shall return on Christmas day
I shall return, for you, on Christmas Day
My love
I will return on Christmas Day
I shall return ,my love, on Christmas Day
On Christmas Day

Have a Little Faith (in us)
See the lovers in the faded photograph
She's making funny faces, he's trying not to laugh
Do you remember the way we used to be
When love lifted us up, made us feel so free

How we betrayed each other
Trying to rediscover
That feeling once again
This is not the end

There's no ghost from the past, that we can't shake
Have a little faith in us (have a little faith in us)
There's no history that we can't remake
Have a little faith in us
For all we know the best is yet to come

We like the wind under our wings, you and I
We stay on the ground too long, we get that urge to fly
And it seems that the grass world be more green
In any other place, with any change of scene

Here is the love we long for, open the secret door
And it will take us in
And sweep us off our feet again

There's no ghost from the past, that we can't shake
Have a little faith in us (have a little faith in us)
There's no history that we can't remake
Have a little faith in us (have a little faith in us)
There's no ghost from the past, that we can't shake
Have a little faith in us (have a little faith in us)
There's no destiny that we can't create
Have a little faith in us
For all we know the best is yet to come

And we can climb that mountain and go
Where this love has never gone before
And in our wildest heart of hearts we will know
That we have been reborn

There's no ghost from the past, that we can't shake
Have a little faith in us (have a little faith in us)
There's no history that we can't remake
Have a little faith in us (have a little faith in us)
There's no ghost from the past, that we can't shake
Have a little faith in us (have a little faith in us)
There's no destiny that we can't create
Have a little faith in us
For all we know the best is yet to come

hey fellow maybe friend
Check out Ben Harper... Or a taste of Jack Johnson. I know that you prefer classic rock. I listen to it all for I have witnessed it all except for that of which was before my time. I draw back from that who could forget the first Fleetwood Mac, Aqua Lung, (YOU KNOW THE ARTIST). BYE THE WAY (ABOUT THE QUOTE). FOLLOW MY HEART. FOR INSIDE WITHOUT OXYGEN IT MAY BE BLUE. THOUGH WHEN IT POURS FORTH FROM MY TONGUE IT IS NOT BLUE BUT TRUE AND NOT FORKED. I WILL NEVER COME AS SALTY AS SALT PORK, WHICH MAY BE GOOD IN BEANS..... BUT IS BAD FOR THE BODY BEHIND CLOSED SCENES.
You are what you eat, and live the consequenses of the way this world you treat.
Quote:
That which is not body is no part of the universe... And since the universe is all, that which is not body is nothing and nowhere-Hobbes
Boy don't I sound like the idiot of the bar scene of Goodwill Hunting...... Though I have actuallly read all these books. I think I will go to bed listening to My Sisters and My Brothers THANX to good old Garcia...... Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Same to you Rae, Except I do not dream but pass from cloud to cloud. Hoping not to fall through. In turn getting to visit with the angel beside me. During slumber I wait up there until the sun starts to rise. Then I come back and try to live this new day better than the one before. We all make mistakes though can we truly come through with heartfelt amends instead of a simple apology? That in turn we could turn around and scorn someone else the same way. I try my best and that as is as honest as East is opposite to West.
