Been listening to Peeping Tom's self-titled debut. Peeping Tom is better known as Mike Patton, the lead of numerous projects including Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Fantomas, Tomahawk, etc.

Surprisingly, the aforementioned Nora Jones makes an appearance on this album!

Here's the chorus she sings on Peeping Tom:

Keep it in your pants
Sucker
What makes you think you're my only lover?
The truth kind of hurts, don't it, mother...
fukker.

It's great to hear her cuss in that sultry voice.

Thom Yorke - The Eraser

Anybody heard it? I think Thom Yorke is a musical genius. This album, his first solo, is very electronic with his voice very much forward. He's gotten criticized for that, but I don't have a problem with it.

been downloading and listening to old radio science fiction shows from "X Minus One"

the radio shows are written by the likes of ted sturgeon, isaac asimov, james blish, ray bradbury, robert heinlein and sprague de camp

start here there are 82 shows ( a few repeats) each around 30 minutes..they are free downloads

http://ottolejeune.com/index.php/downloads/

if anyone is interested, check out one of ted sturgeon's called "Mr. Costello," written in 1956, it mirrors today's right wing hysteria and paranoia

I am filling up my ipod with the the shows

I think a good argument can be made that Cat was one of the most beautiful voices and spirits of the 70's.

<Gorgeous face, too.>

Miss Cat.

Teaser and the Firecat... Laughing

CSNY, too. So Far... Cool We should have a hootenanny, Child of Light.

My voice is like Cat Stevens...but better Shocked

I'm gonna be a musician one day. I'm probably not as pretty as Cat but hoots are fun nonetheless.
