listening to CBC; a special performance celebrating stuart hamilton's 75th birthday. he is often one of the commentators for saturday afternoon's 'live from the met'. we have seen him for a number of years when he comes to kingston to visit with queen's university's school of music and appears with the kingston symphony as a commentar. quite a personality. hbg

hbg, a similar story. My ex used to host a classical music show on the local npr station so when Karl Haas came to town we took him out to dinner. He was a great story teller but annoyed the hell out of me because he kept getting up from the table to phone his wife.

I have seen the movie about 20 times, and I still laugh as if it is the first time.

It is the only movie that does that to me.
