I had to show ID to receive it.

I got one today, 3 year full warranty, and a 4 year pro-rated, with 620 amps for $150 with the $20 rebate for the old one, which still works, but intermittently.

I think that's a pretty good deal, actually, after having spoken with 3 other companies.

And this is Canadian $... so what do you think?

won't help in the house, lol it's so friggin hot here... I'm dying'. But at least it's not Lytton where it's 47!

Alex is grilling up the burgers... i fried mushrooms, sliced cheese, onions and tomatoes, and we have lettuce. That'll be a good 2 bites, then I'll be done. Even without the heat, that's my basic allotment, but in this weather... oh well, I bought fudgicles today...

Yes, the alternator was fine and so is the old battery, but it was tested last year at 343 (it was rated 600) and apparently it was leaking a lot of acid. Anyway, the new one is going in today. I just don't want to get stranded anywhere.

Over here supermarkets have signs up saying they’ll ask for ID if one looks 25 or under.

Making the age so high stops people moaning. 18 is still the age to buy alcohol.

Walked today. I need apples so there is motive to leave the house later. My neighbor is miffed because a chemical got sprayed along the fenceline. I didn't know the lawn guy was going to do that. We both don't want Roundup, especially since we live next to the pump that supplies our neighborhood water. Aside from that, nothing special going on.

Yes. 90% of the town is gone and everyone is scattered hither and thither. The Lytton First Nations was wiped out, too. So far, no deaths have been recorded, but it's too soon to say.

I'm worried about your West Coast, after reading about how little water there is in various states. There were those devastating fires in CA, OR, and WA last year.

Has anybody seen my spaceship?

I just ate some kind of cereal for breakfast that had pumpkin seeds in it. I added blueberries and walnuts. Now I want my spaceship. I think I left my tinfoil hat in it.
