Has anyone ever tried to grill cauliflower with feta in tinfoil? It is absolutely superb. I am going to a friend's tonight - 3 of us ladies will be there. The lady hosting it is this one:

And the other one going is the woman on the left:

I have a problem with feta cheese - I like only one store brand, not available here; that brand has something addictive to me about it (it's french, y'know), although I've liked some local fetas back in North North, land of many grazing animals. This is not a response to you, mame, in case you are still abiding by your rash guidelines.

I just happened to be thinking of feats of derring do. I had to have an auto club roadside assistance today, as I'd not driven my car enough and the battery pooped. Which knocked me off my feet, as it were. But the auto guy was a cutie, quick fixing m'car, and wishing me a Happy Fourth.

That calls for festivities.

I am chuckling softly, as dlowen's bunny post reminded of a TV commercial I saw yesterday. There are these really cute, rather large grey bunnies having some fun when they hear that familiar rattle nearby. A huge rattlesnake with the rattler making the scary noise. They cower and try to sneak away. But, wait, the rattle going off at the end of the snake is a pink baby rattle encased in plastic.

Now, the bunnies are rolling around on the ground, howling with laughter, as the snake curls up tight, hiding.

Izzie wants me to name a new plant--a philodendron. She suggested Phil or Filo. I think it's a goil.

Not sure about this plant naming business anyway. I've had trees for years. They've been nameless for years. They don't seem at all bothered by it.
