I wouldn't say it was sophisticated. Racism is very UN-sophisticated.

The fact of the matter is that the current concepts of "race" were developed long before anybody even knew what genes or DNA was.

I think those who understand anthropology aren't racists. The study undermines old concepts of race. And "racial" differences are more pronounced in the physical characteristics of a person than it is in their DNA.

Well, when anthropologists come out with findings that dispute old concepts of race they're either not racists or they hide it really well.

Your idea of anthropology must stem from what it use to be in the 1950's especially with defunct notions of racial typography.
