I spent Saturday dressed up as a railroad engineer, and showed a bunch of my tool collection at the 100th anniversary of our Santa Fe Railroad depot.

Curmie, I know you love me, Man, but hey..... that's cool. Keep on keep'n on.

@briansol,
Well, I had a terrific weekend! We were having so much fun with this tube thingy behind the boat that no one even bothered to break out the fishing poles! Got a little sunburned too!

Sunday was church and spending time with kids and grandkids and then Labor Day was just that - Labor Day! Yard work, cleaning the garage, ironing, etc., We also spent some time up on our new acreage. This building house stuff is hard work!

Curmudgeon - What a cool thing for you to have done! I'm sure your community appreciated it!

@briansol,
I have had a beard since 1967, and have only shaved it off once! I cut it off in 1978, but the wife laughed at my babyface, and I scared the kids, so I grew it back after only 3 days. I usually keep it short, but in February this year I decided to let it grow long. It is rather thin, but I kinda like it long. My thin gray pony tail is only about 6 inches long.

@briansol,
Well, guys, I am going for another "long weekend". I am heading for some training for some volunteer activities so won't be back until Monday. I'm not taking my laptop as it's meetings from 6:30 am to 10:00 pm!!!

Please don't beat each other up too much while I'm gone.

@briansol,
I'm not sure who scares me more my Mother or my Mother-In-Law, who am I kidding the Mother-In-Law. She's mean to the bone, if she tried to clutch me to her busom I'd be sprinting down the road at 20 knots.

@briansol,
I feel God has blessed me. I have a wonderful family, a good job, am a young 64 ( almost 65) year old man with most of my health, and have many friends, both IRL and on the Net.
