I am proposinga script for a sequel to Escape from NY & LA. these were 2 great films and deserve a sequel.

In this sequel the city of choice has been seperated from the rest of the U.S by a sea of radioactive gases as a result of a doomsday scenario in which the Soviet Union has nuked the USA or UK if its London. Snake Plissken has to go in and do the business.

rumour has it that the director had plans for an Escape from Earth but this is unlikely to happen. I propose 1 of titles 6. Escape from ... Chicago, Miami, Washington, Las vegas, London or earth. What do u think??
which one is the best. I think either Chicago or London.

haha. I don't want to escape from here, I love it here. I do, however, want my town to be in a movie.

See, in the end, they way they would escape is break into the Space and Rocket Center, get the SR-71 Blackbird running, or one of the many rockets, and fly out! once again w00t

In all seriousness, from a huge fan of movies, the previous 2 films were not all that great. Also, remakes and sequals are getting very old and making the movie going public bored. I want to see original ideas/stories/charecters. Do something new and different and I will go see it every day.

Agreed. I'll watch it if I catch them on TNT or something, but you won't see me paying money for it.

It seems you have a tough time diferentiating between fact and opinion.

Opinion: I don't think they were that great of a movie

Opinion: You think they are "the bomb" (btw, noone says that anymore)

Fact: Both movies barely grossed $50k combined in the US and the second movie didn't even earn its budget back WORLDWIDE.

@the intellect,
i will make the 3rd one work.

it will star me as Snake Plissken's son who has the avenge the death of his father and infiltrate a given-city filled with wierdos, perverts, homosexuals, gang members, radioactively-mutated creatures and save the free world from being invaded by the 3rd world-or something along those lines.
