I meant: Do you have any purpose in posting these? Is it just to up the post count?

No other purpose then on that date and time, that is what happened in the world. I just saw an empty forum and thought i'd put something History related in it. In the other site forums i go too i'm used to my posts not even counting. Most don't in political forums if they have one? Post count don't mean much to me for that reason. Where i got the link to this site they had just shut down the political forum. I had over three thousand i'm sure but only register six hundred by the site counter.
