About 15 minutes ago, a big hand came down out of the sky and shook the house (gently enough), for about ten seconds. If anyone has any information on an earthquake, please post it here. If there was an earthquake in the U.S. near the Canadian border, post that. Thank you.
@Setanta,
I just started another thread - whatever that was, was felt in Montreal and in Connecticut as well.
Something happened again just minutes ago. I didn't feel anything, but the dogs started barking again. CBC is reporting on it right now. No reports of damages or injuries, CBC reports it was felt in Ottawa and Montréal.
@Setanta,
Quote:A 5.5-magnitude earthquake has hit Ontario, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. Tremors were reportedly felt as far away as Montreal, Boston and Cleveland.
The first tremor hit at 1:40 p.m. ET Wednesday.
Buildings in Toronto and Ottawa were evacuated in the minutes following the tremors.

Streets were full for a while there. All back to normal now.
Yupper my friend. I felt it here in Detroit.
My chair slid me up against my desk.
So very very weird.
