Yes, nimh, but not one of the countries you mentioned.

Its in E.Europe and in the former Habsburg empire, but not in Czech/Slovak/Hungary/Slovenia/Croatia, and not in Poland?

Hhhmmm ... so either you count Austria as E.Europe and its in Austria -- or its in either Transylvania, the Voyvodina or the Western Ukraine ...

Do you count Austria as part of E.Europe? (That is - is this in Austria?)

Yes, Austria in German stands for Eastern Kingdom.

Ah - yes, thats true, literally. Austria isn't usually labelled Eastern Europe, though. Central Europe, yes.

OK, so - Austria. Heh. Now what? <grins>

Is it in Salzburg?

It's the Monastery at Melk, I think. Its on the cover of A Guide to Central Europe, by Richard Bassett.

Yea, nimh got it!!!!!!!

That's it. Stift Melk, the prettiest church I've seen in Europe so far. I took this photo in the exact spot the artist Eidenburger stood to do his copper plate etching (which I'm lucky enough to have a copy).

One problem. It's 5:26 AM here, and I really gotta sleep.

Can someone else post a picture, too? You can already make your first guesses on the one I put up above, of course, but you might get bored while waiting for my answers while I sleep. So then it's good if in the meantime you can do the game on some other picture.

And then when I wake up again, I'll answer your first guesses on this one ... that work?
