BTW, c.i., a day must have been very long in the Antarctic region in this time of the season.

(Sorry, Francis, for a while I am resting after finding a hotel.)

The 'Heinitzburg Hotel', btw, has been built origianally in 1914 by the Captain Earl of Schwerin for his fiance Margarete von Heinitz as a private house.

Any relation to Lutz of the "Iron Curtain" speech?

(Graf von Schwerin, if I remember correctly)

No, I don't think so: that was Johann Ludwig (»Lutz«) Graf Schwerin von Krosigk.

With this seilbahn (or sesselift) you can get from the Unterburg to the Oberburg Schloss near Solingen, Deutschland!

Nearly correct, Francis: you can go the other way as well! Laughing

(Quite funny: the place [formerly a town for itself, nowadays part of Solingen] is called Schloß Burg, like the castle there. And this place spinned off for the whole region: Bergisches Land = country of Burg [and not 'mountain country', as one could think]).

Okay, your turn again. (That was extremely good - or you have been there  )

Sadly, I've never been there. But remember the words I said to define it!

(I'm finding a picture to post).

Quote:

Bergisches Land,
.. kuppige Mittelgebirgslandschaft, im Unnenberg 506m; ..
