i am very interested in Batman ever since i was a little girl he was always a part of my life from having the action figures >.< to getting up early in the morning for the animated series.

Now that ive grown up ive realised theres a lot Batman has taught me about life and alot about him that can be applied to philosophy
i.e
why wont he kill the Joker?
is Batman really a good person?
does he enjoy violence?
does he see the world the way we do?
does he believe in nothing but his promise?
what makes him one of the most loved characters?
are the villians in Batmans head?

and many more

so what do you think about Batman?
what did you think of the new films!

Maybe Batman is truly a Kantian ethicist, and thus, does not value one life over another based upon qualifications.

@JoseyDaisyChains,
How bout this...
lets apply this to a classic dilema (the trolley problem)
trolley going down a track
further down the track are 5 people who wont be able to get out the way.
there isnt enough time to stop the trolley before it kills them
only way to save the 5 people is to switch the trolley onto the other track
but on that track is another person and the trolley would kill one person
what do you think Batman would do in this situation and why?
what would you do and why?

@JoseyDaisyChains,
Batman would never be in that position and if he was next weeks episode would have a different angle, no he would i expect kill the one and have a nervous breakdown...I would jam the points and crash the trolly but then im a romantic...
